Class Surveys

A great savings to the ship owner/operator is the ability to have an Underwater Inspection in-Lieu of Dry-docking (UWILD). Here again, G&G Marine serves its clients with professional quality. We are approved/certified by A.B.S., B.V., D.N.V., G.L., N.K.K., RINA and Lloyd's to conduct in-water surveys in the presence of that society.

All of our certified diving personnel are thoroughly trained in ship structures, appendages, nomenclature, Anti-Fouling Coating condition and cathodic protection systems. Each class society survey is completed with a color video tape and a full written ship hull inspection report. Since 1990 we have averaged 60 class society surveys per annum.
